This past Memorial Day I visited my 95 year old mother who live is northern Iowa. After leaving her home I went to the cemetery to visit my dad’s and other family members’ gravesites. I took photos of the flowers placed at the headstones. I posted the photos on Facebook for “friends” to view.
Then I immediately realized I needed to email these images to my mom. She’s not able to venture out anymore and I know she’d appreciate the photos of her husband, daughter, parents and in-laws’ gravesites.
After emailing the images to mom, she forwarded them to family members out-of-state that had never seen the gravesites. They were very happy to see the images since most will never make it to northern Iowa and will never see the sites in person.
A simple set of photos that sent a powerful message and linked family together.
Thanks for stopping by!
