The Snowstorm That Wasn’t
Time to pick up the camera and take photos of the snowstorm that wasn’t coming. A snowstorm that was going to by-pass Iowa and we’d only get a dusting of snow. A snowstorm which dropped 9 inches of the powdery stuff!
My studio is in between projects and catalogs. The scenery around the property was becoming post card material. Or, maybe I just wanted to get out and take photos since I knew I’d be in the studio for the next couple of weeks with a catalog project.
“Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle … a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream.”
